Here are the Contents pages of MixMag.

The layout for the contents page is well laid out, with images around the text and the text going down the middle of the page.

A lot of images have been used for the contents page, the pictures are quite dull and not full of colours this is good as it doesn’t take your attention away from the text. I like the way it’s got the page number with the image, which is good for people that don’t read all the text in magazines. This will appeal to people that scan magazines and then they can see a picture that they like the look of, then go to the page to read more about it.

The colours on the contents page are kept quite simple and even though there are a lot of images they aren’t bright. Mainly black and white are used, I think this is done because the contents are important so you can’t have it too busy and it needs to be easy to read. As the contents tells you what the whole magazine is about. Other colours are used like yellow and pink to make its slightly colourful.

The fonts used for the contents are serif, quite simple but this is so it’s easy to read. The same font follows from the front cover which makes the magazine flow.
